My office chair was running grooves into my hardwood so this stopped that troubles It looks nice and is clear, nice size too. Only problem I’ve seen so far is that it’s very slick and if you step on it with too much angled pressure, it will slide from below you and you could fall. I’ve learned to just step lightly on it is I’ve considered using double sided tape or something to keep it down. As long as you may keep that in mind, it’s a swell product and in truth cheap costly

I’m very disappointed to have ordered this product and received one with sharp nubs on it, intended for use on a carpet. In speaking with their customer service about receiving the defective item, I have been told that this item is listed in error on Amazon.com and that they do not have this product at this time. I am awaiting email instructions that are supposed to come in a day or two on how to arrange a pick up to return the item for credit.

I’m actually ordering another, having been impressed with the first one. It is relatively clear, flexible, and seems like it will last. Came in a flat box, no rolled-up shape. Definitely good on a hardwood floor but we also have employed it on a carpeted area and it does not seem to slip too much.

I have owned numerous many comforters over the years and this is by far the best. The former one I was using felt too heavy and was way too hot accept for the coldest of winter nights. The current one I was using was way too thin and the down clumped in the middle and left the perimeters bare (it was an expensive one bought at a high-end well-known section store too); I returned it after 6 months since it had a 4 year warranty and counterchanged it for another one which supposedly was stitched thru to prevent the down from shifting. Wrong advertising, returned to department store again! After reading the reviews on this one, worth a attempt since my choices were so limited. Extremely happy: it is plush sufficient to give that “comfy” sentiment but not so heavy as to weight you down. The covering material has the feel of silk; the pattern is gorgeous. Most importantly, NO shifting of down whatsoever, so it is advertised correctly. And as well importantly, whether or not it has to be machine washed, it may be. The price also beats sales at high-end department stores. whether or not I had another bed to purchase for, I’d buy another one.

Even although listed as medium weight, the comforter is light. It has provided excellent warmth during such a great deal of of the coldest nighrs this winter.

After checking and comparing down comforters from many other web sites and our local Costco for value, the quantity of fill & quality cover material. These (bought 2) were the best choice for me. They are quality made, truly “down” and after removing from the shipping box they fluffed up beautifully! Even although they are “medium” warmth, they are very warm and snug but not hot. I use flannel duvet covers so this may add to the warmth.

Buyer Beware! The item was without doubt excellent quality, at least for regarding the primary 30 days. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, I started finding more Down feathers on my floor than in my comforter. I have always employed a duvet cover (300 thread count), but feathers invariably leaked. There are no obvious holes or weak seams. The feathers simply come directly through the fabric. I just bought an $80 “comforter protector” that will hopefully resolve the problem, but whether or not I knew this was going to be an issue, I would have spent $80 more on a better quality comforter in the basi place.

I just received this comforter and the tag says “Minimum 75% Goose Down.” I kinda wish this wasn’t hidden from me. I bought the medium warmth comforter and it seems a lot thinner than I imagined. The 14 inch baffle boxes seem kinda huge for the amount of filling in every one. You may feel fabric touching fabric if you feel the right places. I will update this review if I modify my mind.

We love this comforter, warm, well made, beautiful fabric, seems unfeigned to size. Shake it when it arrives to fluff up the down. The down is very soft and none of it is poking through the fabric. I love the oversized because now I can stay covered up! I have such a heap of of the Pinzon towels and I am impressed by this fine line of homegoods. Got it in truth fast, well packed and with Amazon’s great service.

3 Year Update: This comforter still looks brand new 3 yrs later. We keep it on the bed year round and just fold it back during summer. I have washed it 2 or 3 times and it comes out looking great. Still no leakage and with the baffles, the down hasn’t moved around either. I found an oversized duvet cover that fits it perfectly. I highly recommend this down comforter!

Honestly, all of the other reviews raved about this comforter, but I wasn’t that impressed with its I mean, this was my primary down comforter and my expected values were beauteous high, but this just didn’t meet them at all.

It is gorgeous nice looking and the baffle box design was fantastic.. But it didn’t seem to be THAT filled with feathers and if you sat or laid on it, it flattened a LOT. It was easily puffed back up though but the thinness just made it look kind of cheap. The material was soft though and I really like the subtle stripes though.

It also didn’t keep me that warm. Moving from Arkansas to Massachusetts for college, I knew I would need a good, warm comforter and this didn’t cut its I used a microfleece blanket under this, and I was still shivering even with a radiator (kind of sucky) next to me. I guess I do like it warmer, but I will be purchasing a new comforter for this winter.

this comforter is light and very warm. our landlord is attempting to freeze us, but now we have the perfective defense.

ABOUT ME – I am a veteran of the GPS watch industry and a total technogeek. I have had virtually each model of Garmin since the initial Forerunner came out. I have had a few heart-rate watches from Timex as well. I in addition use a GPS app on my Android phones. So I have a lot to compare with. (Note: I am a runner and not a biker or swimmer, so take this for what it’s worth.)

SUMMARY – I give this product three stars but anticipate that to go up with time. Here are the details:

EASE OF USE – After using it for a while, I have come to the conclusion that Timex has found a good balance amid functionality and features. There’s a lot you may do with this watch, and it require to not be easy to figure out which buttons to assign to which functions when designing something like this. At primary it was confusing, but I futzed around with it and downloaded the onsite manual, and now I’m good.

ACCURACY – GPS-wise, It’s gorgeous perfect. It takes a good long while at times to lock onto a signal, but once locked, I haven’t lost it yet except for running through an underpass. I just ran a half marathon yesterday and my watch tracked it as 13.15 miles. That’s statistically perfect, being only 0.05 miles off (assuming the mile markers were positioned exactly!) and that is a usual experience for me with this watch. My best estimate is that it is precise within fewer than a half a percent. (I haven’t correlated the heart rate monitor’s results with anything, so I am assuming it works fine.)

PC INTERFACE – The spring-loaded USB clip is awesome. The software is another story. There are two software components, the Timex device agent and Training Peaks software. I won’t say much regarding Training Peaks because it is so feature-rich it probably deserves it is own review. You get a elaborate map of your run, complete with graphs of altitude, heart rate, pace, etc. It has all the social media hooks to part your latest outstanding workout with the world. genuinely good.

The Timex device agent is another story. Every time I attempt to use it, it tells me a new version of the firmware is available and asks whether or not I would like to download its whether or not I select Download Now, it takes me to the internetsite where the latest version of the firmware is over a month old or more, and I recognise I’ve already got it on my watch. Annoying. Also, this agent wants to upload ALL the runs from my watch EVERY time, and it takes a really long time to upload all the runs, of which I don’t have that a good deal of yet. Double annoying.

And the worst thing of all: when I plugged my watch in this morning to upload my half marathon from yesterday, it told me there were no new runs to upload. When I checked my watch, ALL THE RUNS HAD DISAPPEARED OFF THE WATCH! ARGH! So I have no record of anything I have recorded with this watch left on the watch itself. still in Training Peaks at least.) I have NO record of my half marathon run yesterday because the watched blanked out before I could upload it is Luckily I keep two backups of my run times and distances, one on Google Docs, one on CardioTracker (an Android app).

So my advice is to wait until Timex works out the software bugs, or at the very least, don’t expect to save your workouts on the watch. Other than that I really like this watch.

This watch is utterly awesome! The configured and functionality of the watch is simple and user friendly. However, if you find yourself having difficulty I recommend looking at the TimexUSA videos uploaded on YouTube. The videos are straight forward and very descriptive. The GPS function of the watch has been 100 percent precise when compared to my vehicle’s odometer readings, and the Sports Tracker app on my Android phone. I’m in the military and it’s no surprise that running is a large part of my life. This watch lets me track my advancement and is precise and easy to employed If you want to start seeing results, not only in the way you feel when you run, but in addition in the numbers that correspond with your progress; GET THIS WATCH!

This was the perfect watch for me. I am a new runner and was looking specifically for a heart rate monitor. I am in addition 52 years old and need to be concerned with regards to my heart. I had tried other heart rate monitors and they would give inaccurate readings at higher rates which annoyed me to no end. This one, on the other hand, has been perfect, easy to read and comfortable as well. I have not utilized the GPS feature, but I intend to, once the weather here in Canada improves. I have connected to the GPS and it is Fast, especially when you acquire the satellites from the same emplacements There are a ton of features that I have not tried yet and that may be the watches only drawback. It takes such a good deal of time to set up as the menus are extensive. Either way, this GPS enabled watch is a Keeper and it looks better than any of the others that I had seen.

I’ve been looking for a GPS watch for rather galore time and when the Suunto Ambit came out I was all over it is I loved the asthetic and durability of the Ambit but basically planned on using it just for running, which I realize is not their target audience. In the end it was just too much coin for a watch I just planned on using when running (I tried to use it as a each and everyday watch and just didn’t work for me).

I moved to the Timex Run Trainer and am not looking back. This watch has way more function and is as easy to use as the Ambit. The online stuff is great. It’s lasting enough, I’m not beating this thing up. I’ve yet to try out all the interval, water/food reminder functions but so far I’ve found it accurate and reliable. Couldn’t be more felicitous with the switch. No troubles with durability or function. I’ve customized my action screens for the metrics I like to see, which was super easy to do. It takes a second to get a GPS connection but by the time I’m ready to go it’s perpetually ready for me.

Excellent merchandise Decided on purchasing Timex over Garmin because of the in-depth reviews of DC Rainmaker ([...]). I employed to have a Forerunner 305 and liked it a a large total This Timex watch is less bulky and has all the functions of the 305 (contrary to the current Garmins 110 or 210). The Heart rate monitor belt is rather practical and comfortable.

At this point the only issue I see is that importing data into connect.garmin.com is quite hard, you require to stick with Training Peaks (the resolution suggested by Timex).

Overall I’m very happy with the purchase, I would recommend.

I would not recommend this watch at all. I am highly disappointed. I can’t get the software upgrades to download on to my PC (I have Windows7), the set up procedure is over-engineered and complicated, the manual is useless. I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 and wanted to upgrade to a newer watch. This was a errors The Garmin is simple to use, simple to set up and their online tracking strategy is released I was really excited when it comes to becoming this Timex but am so frustrated now, I’m sorry I wasted my money. I don’t want to have a degree in rocket science to use my watch for running.

I’m in truth sorry to have to say this, but I HAVE to be HONEST! This basket was filled with fewer then desirable processed food-stuffs, I felt like I got a basket of lies. Appealing at first glimpse glimpse i.e. the nice picture ), a closer examination and taste of the actual feed inside left me disappointed at the army survival canned last-a-thousand-years-on-a-shelf “food” they call gourmet.

I’d say most reviews of these baskets are done by individuals who are being polite because they obtained these baskets as a gift. I, on the other hand, may be honest here because I am self-indulgent sufficient to buy one for myself.

We sent this to our close friends of over three decades and they were kind sufficient to tell us the truth of what arrived. Here are excerpts:

“I do want to report something I believe you would want to acknowledge when it comes to though. The recent Christmas basket we received wasnt more then disappointing! Except for the crackers…and there was rather a bit of them, the rest was 98% inedible!!

The sweets were a joke of over packaging and then non-edible at the end of the opening adventure! The one exception were the two on an individual basis wrapped tiny truffles in a box, that were okay. There was a large package with one chocolate dipped dried out cookie that was in addition in it’s own wrap…also, not to be eaten. The raspberry, chocolate individually wrapped cakes were so dried up/dehydrated it looked like survival food…..And they tasted like pure chemicals and artificial flavors to boot!

Which brings me to the “meat” division of the basket…..

this was by far the worst. The stink of both the lobster and salmon “spread” filled the air with what smelled and tasted like fish flavored chemicals. Earl, Bob, and I tasted a little amount just to verify the smell….that was a bad decision on our part….we needed emergency feed in our mouth to counteract the bad taste! They even sent the cats running in the other direction. The salami was so white it was scarey!

Now I have to say, we really really did take delight in this basket because we spent the afternoon laughing hysterically over the experience….so thank you for that memory! I imagine, however, that was not your intention….so here I am, the “brave” one telling the hard facts of how no matter how much you paid for that basket, you got ripped off!”

My Mom liked it, she liked the potpourri of items. She said the visual representation of it was great, looked expensive!

This basket is full of the best stuff on earth, it was a happiness to receive and better to look through all the swell items included in this basket.

I donated this item to raise funds for the We Care Foundation Charity Auction. The presentation was outstanding and the food looked so good I wish I could have retained it for myself! I commend this item if you are looking to impress but keep within a fair budget.

We received a Tripp Trapp chair 25 years ago when my daughter was a toddler engaged in a struggle to reach the table, sink, and anything else high up. Over the course of the years we purchased another one for a subsequent child, employed them at the dining table, let the kids work at the sink, adjusted them to adult seating as they grew, etc.

Now my grandchildren are arriving, and they sit in their parents’ old chairs (which still look beautiful) when they visit, and use new ones in their own home. The chairs are sturdy, comfortable, adjustable, and long-lived. Yes, they cost money, but this is a case of laying out money in something of high quality which will last for galore years. Buying one of these early on will stay clear from the need to invest in other seating devices which don’t last virtually as well, thence needing replacement.

I have 2 children 2 years apart. i purchased one chair when my eldest was 2 1/2-ish and I necessitated the highchair he was still using for my then nine month old daughter. i have a small home and only sufficient space for a breakfast table. i necessitated the extra chairs for guests. so it was worth it to me to purchase an further and added chair for my child. in addition i read one reviewer who said that kids will sqirm less and be interested in their feed whether or not the chair they sit it fits them well. i think that is true. my kids are now 6 and four each of them has a chair that fits them well AND that they have always been competent to climb into and out of themselves. I think this is essential for their sense of self reliance. The chairs are lasting and look brand new still.

I have two complaints and they are small little this is why fours stars instead of five): the sticker on the back with the warnings is ugly and has to be got rid of with goo gone takes a good half hour. the straps never worked right, i never applied them and at last took them off. I could not alter them in the right manner and the kids would struggle to get out for only the reason that they felt confined. both of my kids have fallen out of their seats without injury- i believe this is portion of childhood and they learn very rapidly to sit properly. the seat itself has never toppled- EVER.

because i found the straps useless i commend that you not use this seat until the child is able to climb up on his or her own. like at age 2 or more. these chairs are pricy but the cost of replacing our nice dining chair (which is allocation of a matched set) after it is scratched/stained from having a booster seat attached to it is most likely comprable.

My counsel is this: spend your money on the items that you use everyday- seats like these, rockingchairs/furnishings, quality cribs and sheets, quality adaptive equipement like stools and toilet inserts. get things that will hold up and feel secure for children to applied the added gain is that when you are done with them and have enjoyed using them they have life left in them and you might sell them for a fair price at your next garage sale etc.

ps. I don’t have the cushions. just one more thing to wash. i don’t feel they are necessary for console or anything.

I don’t recognise how this chair has passed so many safety standards. They need to not test it on carpet and with all table types because our son pushed himself back from the table today and the chair flipped backwards. He hit his head on a console table that was behind him, which was in truth most likely a good thing because it helped slow the momentum, but then he did hit the floor. It was the most horrifying thing for us so far. He is 11 1/2 months old. Please be cautioned that whether or not it even seems like your child may push off the table with this chair do not use it.

This thing is going to be torn apart and put out with the trash.

In all fairness I need to update this review…I am a tremendous proponent of parents taking responsibility for their children and after further review we saw in the downloadable safety information on this chair that there is in truth a tipping possibility whether or not the chair is on sure surfaces and if they may reach a certain share of the table. So please, please make sure you do not fall into this category before buying this chair.

If you are in the safe zone then I will have to say you may just love the chair as we did before the fall.

I’ve noticed that most of the reviewers seem to be addressing using this for toddlers, but I am having swell success with my infant. We chosen this chair (in bright bright for our baby registry (Thanks, Grandma!), and I have just set it up because I’m starting our baby on solid foods. We use the baby rail and the cushions and harness, and it works beautifully! She seems to be quite comfortable, and fits absolutely on the smallest suggested settings for the seat and foot support. The baby rail fits right up below the tabletop, and with a placemat in front of her, there has been very little mess to clean up (so far, but then I’m the one doing the feeding right now). It’s so easy to push her away from the table when she’s done eating instead than fighting with a tray, and I love having her sitting right at the table with us during meals. I’m very happy with the chair, and even more pleased that I don’t have to use one of those ugly plastic things. The tripp-trapp is as well lightweight sufficient that I can easily take her from the dining room into the kitchen where she can watch me while I work. The only thing I would change would be that the harness does have a little difficultness staying up on her shoulders, so I’m going to make a little cincher to keep it in place between her shoulder blades. I bet it fits better on more prominent children.

We purchased this chair a little underneath a year ago. Our 22mo daughter tipped over backwards in it and her head went slamming to the hard tile floor which landed us in the ER. I’m at a loss as to a better option since this chair came so highly rated, but we will not be using it anymore. My daughter is very petite, only 20lbs and still managed to do its We were both seated at the table with her and couldn’t grab her in time because it took place so fast. I’m horrified to think what could have took place to her fragile little skull and brain. Just Google “tripp trapp tipping” and see the YouTube video of the infant tipping. The same thing could take place in any of the belt-on toddler boosters that strap to a regular dining chair. Hoping this review will prevent at least a few more tippings. It was very scary.

Our family loves the tripp trapp chair. Right now we have two of them that both my four year old and seven year old use at every meal. I in addition have an 18 month old who sits in the chair when his large sisters aren’t in it is The girls have had their since they were old enough to sit at the table with the family and eat – around 8 months.

Pros-

* It’s adaptable for all heights and sizes

* It will be applied for YEARS and YEARS as opposed to a high chair that is out grown after a year or so.

* It inspires independence and self reliance

* It encourages proper posture and eating skills since it puts the child at the rectify height for eating at the table

* It pushes into the table like a regular chair – saving space – not similar to conventional high chairs

* It’s attractive and even an adult can sit on it

Cons

* It has no tray for eating like a high chair — at our house we also had a booster seat with a tray that attaches to a regular chair for around $25 to accomodate the time when we needed the tray — like self feedings in the middle of the kitchen or outside.

* The cushion and rail are sold separately

* It’s expensive! – but TOTALY worth it and the resell value is high

Our family highly recommends it! In fact we need another one for the little guy so he doesn’t have to keep sharing!

We bought the earlier model of this chair (the kinderzeat) for my older son when he was about 18 months and refused to sit in his booster chair anymore. There was a lot of running around the table. When we got the chair he was immediately more comfortable and would in truth sit through a meal. He’s virtually 4 now and I’m just now brave enough to let him pick out a cushion for it is He still likes “his” chair. I’m now buying goods for another one for my younger son who is 8 months. I love that it pulls right up to the table and they are a portion of your meals. The chair itself is exceedingly durable and very easy to clean. The only downside is the price – but I warrant it by not buying a high chair first. This is the only chair your baby ought to ever need.

I grasp that when you’re buying upscale baby products, it’s more for the parents’ bragging rights than for the child’s safety. But I would as well anticipate the product to be well made and designed rivaling those of less expensively manufacturers. So when we got the G2 infant travel system, I was in truth impressed with the whole swivel base and the cool looking stroller, so the price was justified. Now that our baby has outgrown the infant seat, we decided to get the convertible toddler seat, and altho it is very well made and stylish looking, there is one significant drawback and that is it is one tight fitting seat. Our son who is just over 6 months old and 17-18ish pounds is already cramped when put in its I had to modify the seat buckle to the furthest position already. And it’s not like the seat itself is small, rather it is a huge, hulking beast making it fairly of a pain to take in and out. It’s just that the actual space within it is very small. I guess you could say that all that padding is what makes it safe but I would think a convertible seat ought to last you a while seeing the weight tolerances are so high. We had a Recaro Signo for our other child and it lasted until he was 4-5 years old…I highly commend that seat because is was plush and highly adjustable. I can’t see this seat fitting our son after another year. I initially thought the light grey padding is supposed to come off to concede for more space, but I didn’t see it anyplace in the instruction manual to remove its Who knows, possibly the material is still so new that it will compact in time allowing more space, but I highly commend that you go to a store and actually put your baby in one of these before dropping close to $400 for this thing.

When I ordered the product it did not specify that it was only for a 2002 and older jeep with a 4 cyl. I have a 2003 jeep with a 6 cyl. We, as customers, need more info to keep down returns and to get the right product the first time. The delivery time was outstanding just not sufficient info.
